The Newtown Public Library is dedicated to fostering a love of reading, encouraging the exploration of ideas, and supporting lifelong learning for everyone in the community. Established in 1974, it has grown from humble beginnings into an 8,400-square-foot modern facility. The library offers a diverse collection of over 58,000 items, including books, audiobooks, DVDs, and digital resources like e-books and subscription databases. Beyond its collections, the library provides free access to computers and Wi-Fi, and hosts various programs and events for all ages, such as children's storytimes and educational workshops. It is primarily staffed by volunteers and managed by a full-time librarian, with support from the Delaware County Library System.
