Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) is a renowned performing arts organization based in Missoula, Montana. Founded in 1970, MCT is famous for its touring productions, which bring theater to children across the United States and internationally. Their unique model involves touring teams that arrive in a community with a complete set of costumes, props, and sets and then cast and rehearse local children in an original musical production within a week. This is a rare opportunity for students to interact with and learn from these esteemed performers. The free auditions will take place Monday, January 26th at Indian Hills Elementary School Gymnasium at 4pm (be prepared to stay until 8pm) . It is open for students K-12th grade. Rehearsals will be held at the Alhambra Theatre from Tuesday, January 27th to Friday, January 30th, with a public performance on Saturday, January 31st! Total rehearsal time will depend on each student’s assigned role, but most can expect 4. 5 hours per day. Public performance tickets will be 8 for adults and 5 for children under 12.
