FREE 30-Minute Beginner-Friendly Mat Pilates Class
Taught by an EYT Apprentice Instructor
We’re excited to invite you to a FREE 30-minute beginner-friendly Mat Pilates class—a special opportunity to support our apprentice instructors as they work toward their certification, while giving you a chance to explore what Pilates is all about!
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a low-impact, full-body movement method that focuses on core strength, alignment, breath, and control. Mat Pilates uses body-weight exercises to improve posture, flexibility, balance, and muscle tone—making it a fantastic addition to any wellness routine.
Who is this class for?
This class is ideal for beginners of all ages and fitness levels who are curious about starting a Pilates practice in a supportive, accessible environment. However, participants must be able to get up and down from the floor with relative ease, as this class will involve transitioning between seated, lying, and standing positions.
Please note: If you are currently recovering from an injury, managing significant joint pain, or have medical conditions such as unregulated high blood pressure, recent surgeries, or osteoporosis, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider before attending. This class is not intended as a substitute for therapeutic or rehabilitative movement.
What to bring:
- A yoga or Pilates mat (we have extras if you don’t have one!)
- Comfortable clothes you can move in (think: leggings, joggers, fitted t-shirts or tanks)
- A water bottle
- A positive attitude and curiosity to learn!
Props such as Pilates rings, balls, and bands will be available at the studio—no need to bring your own unless you prefer to.
The studio will open 15–30 minutes before class begins, so come early to get settled, connect with your instructor, and ask any questions.
✨ Come move, breathe, and support our growing teacher community while discovering the strength and connection Pilates can bring to your body and mind!
