Age: 12 - 16 Instructor: Kate Schaich $184/members, $204/non-members June 9 - 20 | 1 - 4pm Create a masterpiece menu of artworks good enough to eat! In this two-week camp, students will take inspiration from contemporary artist-foodies like Claes Oldenburg, Peter Anton, Lucy Sparrow, and Wayne Thiebaud—masters of creating delectable sculptures and paintings. Campers will dish up their own feasts for the eyes, crafting papier-mâché cakes (complete with plaster “icing”), giant candy wrappers, clay confections, hand-sewn felt foods, and realistic breakfast, lunch, and dinner courses made from the most unexpected ingredient—toilet paper! Friends and family are invited to join us during the last 15 minutes of camp on the 20th for an art show!
