Gliders: Engineer it! Gliders have been used over the years for many flight purposes. But what about the principles that go into engineering the perfect glider. Join the museum educator and use the engineering design process to learn about the forces of flight, Bernoulli principle, ultimately testing the wings that will let your glider fly. Classes are 1 hour and vary for times. The class times are 11:00 AM; 1:00 PM; and 3:00 PM. The classes are free to participate in with paid admission for the day. Guided tours:These last about a 45 minutes and take place as well throughout the day at the hour starting at 11:00 AM with the last tour at 3:00 PM. No RSVP required. Guests must pay general admission at entrance to join the tour and activity. Guests can join the activity or tours as they choose. Space is limited to 25 persons for each activity or tour time slot.
