**Mondays Are for Poets: Monthly Writing Workshop & Open Mic Night**
Join us at Brotherwell Brewing for "Mondays Are for Poets," a series that celebrates the power of poetry and spoken word. On the first Monday of every month from 6–8 PM, participate in a poetry writing workshop designed for writers of all experience levels. Each session features guided prompts and gentle exercises to inspire creativity, followed by a safe space for sharing your work aloud. Embrace honesty and vulnerability as you connect with others and explore the healing power of your voice.
Then, every third Monday from 6–8 PM, we invite you to our Open Mic Night, where you can step up to the mic and share your poetry, stories, or performances in a welcoming community. Whether you're a seasoned performer or new to the stage, come enjoy a craft beer, connect with fellow writers and listeners, and support the vibrant Waco creative scene. Both events are free to attend and open to all—bring what’s on your heart and join us among friends. Please be mindful of mature themes when bringing children.
