One Day Class Master the Fundamentals of Sewing Don't have a machine? No problem! We have classroom machines available for use. If. you want to learn about your own machine, please check out our Unbox Your Sewing Machine class or a Sewcial Session! Discover the joy of sewing in this beginner-friendly workshop! Whether you're picking up a needle for the first time or returning after a break, this class will build your confidence with both machine and hand sewing. You'll learn: Machine essentials - from threading and bobbin winding to adjusting tension Machine troubleshooting - cleaning and changing a needle Basic stitches - perfect your straight stitch and explore the versatility of zig-zag Materials know-how - select the right needle and thread for your projects Hands-on practice - guide fabric through your machine and experiment with different stitches We'll wrap up with essential hand-sewing techniques, including the satisfying skill of attaching buttons properly. To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit. If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference. If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
