Alaska’s Largest Drive-Through Holiday Light Display The holidays shine bright at the Alaska State Fairgrounds! Pile into the car, turn up the holiday tunes, and take a magical drive through Bright Up the Night — a dazzling display of more than 70 sparkling light installations that bring the Fairgrounds to life with festive cheer. From twinkling tunnels and glittering trees to larger-than-life holiday scenes, each display adds its own touch of wonder to your evening. Sync your radio to our special holiday station, roll down the windows, and let the spirit of the season surround you — all from the cozy comfort of your vehicle. After your drive, keep the celebration going at the Yuletide Festival, held Friday through Sundays in December. Step out of the dark and into a winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights, live entertainment, and festive fun for all ages. Take a spin on the carousel or zoom down the slide, visit with Christmas elves, sip on mulled wine or a holiday mocktail, cozy up by the bonfire, and savor delicious bites from local food trucks.
