Let’s go “way down yonder in the pawpaw patch” just like the old song says as we discover just how delightful pawpaw trees are. We will hike on moderate to difficult terrain to learn how to identify them and see where they like to grow. We will also discuss pawpaw fruit harvesting ethics and try our hand at making a pawpaw treat to taste. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather because a portion of this program will take place on Pawpaw Valley trail.
