Acu-Sound at Horizons Therapy On Wednesday July 9th you are invited to come join us for a unique wellness experience called an Acu-Sound session at Horizons Therapy Inc in Waynesboro, VA. This class will occur the 2nd Wednesday of each month as part if Greg's "Midweek Meditation" series at Horizons Therapy. 5NP treatment provided by Vaccaria Auriculotherapy. An Acu-Sound session combines two wellness practices, Sound Healing and the 5NP auricular acupuncture treatment. Each of these practices can help us in a wide range of ways including stress relief, emotional balance, deep relaxation, and improved sleep. And when paired together these practices offer a powerful wellness combination! Acu-Sound session to be held on 7/9 at 6:30pm. Cost for Sound + 5NP is $50 **please note only 8 spots available for this session** These Acu-Sound sessions are hosted by Coreen Ames of Vaccaria Auriculotherapy and Greg Burns of Metta Vibrations. Horizons Therapy is located at 1009 W Main St, Waynesboro VA 22980 For these sessions attendees will be provided a zero-gravity chair or nassage table for resting during the event. After getting settled Coreen will initiate the 5NP auricular (ear) treatment, and then Greg will begin the meditation and Sound Bath portion. Sound Bath to last approximately 45 minutes. 5NP treatment will be completed and time for questions and reflections before we finish. Total event length is approximately 65-70 minutes. The 5NP treatment is a specific acupuncture treatment using 5 needles in the ear. The 5NP protocol is known to stimulate the release of endorphins that rebalance the brain and the body's stress response, induces relaxation, detoxification, increased calmness, better sleep, reduction in inflamation, anxiety, grief, PTSD, increased peacefulness, well-being and more. Coreen is a trained and practicing technician of this treatment. The Sound Bath experience is both a musical and meditative experience. It helps most people achieve deep relaxation and meditative states, and fosters many different internal healing aspects. Greg has been working with the Healing Art of Sound for over 10 years now.
