Call For Art Open 08/05/2025 - 09/03/2025 Transitions "The Art of Change" We invite everyone to celebrate "Transitions", a powerful exhibition speaking to the beauty, tension, and excitement of transformation, offering visitors a chance to reflect on their own experiences with change. The essence of "Transitions" is about change, movement, and transformation. This theme explores the journey from one state to another, whether that’s physical, emotional, cultural, or societal. It could focus on personal experiences, shifts in relationships, the passage of time, or the evolution of ideas and identities. "Transitions" could span large societal movements or more intimate personal journeys, but the common thread would be the constant and inevitable nature of change. We encourage submissions that capture: Personal Transformations Cultural and Societal Shifts Emotional and Psychological Transitions Conflict and Resolution All mediums are welcome. Eligible Mediums: 2D Art: Painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital art, and mixed media 3D Art: Sculpture, ceramics, glasswork, textile art, and found-object creations ***************************************************** If you are selected, you will be emailed a contract further explaining the terms of the agreement. The costs associated with the call are a $30 fee per piece that is selected, unless you are an Associate Artist of the gallery, in which case your fee will be reduced by $25 per piece. The gallery retains a 25% commission from all sales during the exhibit, unless the artists have an existing Associate Artist agreement. $5 of each submission fee will be donated to The Banquet of Sioux Falls. We appreciate all that they do help serving families, individuals, and children of all ages.
