Details:
Simbang Gabi (Night Mass) is a Filipino Christmas tradition spanning over 5 centuries. It is a series of 9 masses leading up to Christmas, celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is also known as 'Misa de Gallo' (Mass of the Rooster) because it is traditionally celebrated at dawn before the sun rises. This is because most Filipinos were farmers and fishermen who began and ended their day at dawn. Join us as we gather with faith and devotion in anticipation of the birth of our Savior! Fellowship and Potluck After the mass McCullough Center (St Mary's School Gym) *This mass is anticipatory and fulfills Sunday Mass obligation.
