Join volunteers from Runge Nature Center for a guided hike along the Lake Trail at Scrivner Conservation Area in Cole County. This easy 3-mile hike is part of Runge's monthly Wednesday and Saturday all-day hiking programs, and participants may register for only one event. The hike is suitable for ages 18 and older. Meet at Runge Nature Center in Jefferson City or the trailhead; while some transportation is provided, carpooling may be necessary due to limited vehicle space. Hike leaders will contact participants via email prior to the event with directions and additional information. Participants should wear sturdy shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and bring a water bottle and a packed lunch or snack. Registration is required and limited, closing on December 12 at 8 AM.
