Meet at the beginning of the Bog Walk Trail across HWY 20. Join us on an exciting adventure through the colorful world of autumn animals! Discover how our forest friends prepare for the chilly season ahead. From furry squirrels storing nuts to birds migrating south, we'll uncover the clever tricks and natural instincts that help animals survive the changing seasons. As we take a walk in nature, children will learn about the fascinating adaptations that make fall such a special time for wildlife. Meet in the Aspen Lane Parking Lot which is north of the campground. We will be walking along the gravel Bog Walk Trail for about a half mile. Dress for the weather because the entire program will be outdoors. If it is raining, the program will be indoors at the Visitor Center instead.
