Heritage & Innovation Day at the MSPIB Farmers Market is a celebration of our Community Heritage and Future Potential, featuring the Scioto County Heritage Museum and more! Come discover the rich history of our area and the opportunities our future holds! This Special Event is sponsored by the Scioto County Heritage Museum. Saturday, October 4, is the final day of the 2025 MSPIB Farmers Market season. Make sure to use your 2025 Scioto Bucks and Healthy Bucks Voucher Cards by noon on October 4 when they expire! During the season, the Farmers Market is open from 9am to noon every Saturday on The Roy Rogers Esplanade. The Esplanade is located on the northeast corner of Chillicothe Street and Gallia Street in Downtown Portsmouth, Ohio. The Main Street Portsmouth In Bloom [MSPIB] Farmers Market was founded by the DeAtley Family. Laurel, Craig, and Heather DeAtley recognized the need to provide a Downtown space for the region's Farms and Cottage Industry to share produce and wares with The Community. In addition to booths, the MSPIB Farmers Market also features events, including agriculture education, art activities, and musical performances. A number of area institutions attend the Farmers Market to provide information on events and services, especially those catering to youth and seniors. The MSPIB Farmers Market follows Ohio Cottage Industry Rules. Interested Vendors are encouraged to apply. Vendor Applications and more information may be found at our website: www.mspohio.org/events/farmers-market The MSPIB Farmers Market is sponsored by our Scioto County Commissioners.
