Do you need a new headshot? Would you like to learn how take great photos of your artwork? Here’s your chance to get a new head shot taken and learn best practices of taking artwork photos from a professional photographer. Join us in our Depot Gallery from 6-7:30 pm on Aug 12 for a facilitated educational discussion - offered at no cost which supports both emerging and established artists. On August 12, photographer, Chap Achen is the the featured presenter 6-645 pm Chap will take headshot photos, free of charge, for up to 10 artists on a first come, first served basis - reserve your spot! All attendees are welcome to arrive at the RWA Depot Gallery during this window for artist networking while headshots are happening, even if you’re not having a headshot taken. RESERVE YOUR SPOT! 6:45-7:30 pm Chap will present on best practices and tips for taking good artwork photos. This will include time for Q & A. Chap Achen has been photographing for over 60 years with his focus on the landscape but also loves people photography, as well architectural images. He often works in B&W and enjoys the opportunity to create works that reflect the area he lives in, specifically the northern reaches of the Driftless Area and the upper Mississippi River Valley. Red Wing Arts is pleased to announce the relaunching our monthly ArtSpeak artist professional development program in 2025! Join us in our Depot Gallery at 6 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for this program - offered at no cost - which supports both emerging and established artists. Every other month we will offer panel discussions featuring experts on topics which provide business acumen and growth tailored towards artists. Every other month we will host facilitated artwork critique and networking sessions. See details below on each monthly offering.
