Established in 1974, the Chevington Woods Kingfish Swim Team has been instilling a passion for swimming since its foundation. Many swimmers who swam their very first races in our pool when they were 4, 5 or 6 years old, have gone on to become Olympic Trial Qualifiers, National Champions and All Americans. Many of our former swimmers come back with their children. Some former swimmers even come back and serve our team as coaches, having a desire to pass along all that they learned and experienced as Kingfish to the next generation of swimmers.
We take pride in providing all aspiring swimmers with an opportunity to not only experience all that the sport of swimming has to offer, but to also be part of an encouraging and supportive swim family!
