Houston’s ultimate celebration of spicy food, fiery flavor, and cosmic culture lands this fall. This one-of-a-kind event invites chili heads, hot sauce lovers, and flavor fanatics to explore the spicy side of the universe at Houston's Best Bar, Social Beer Garden.
Spicy Planet will also feature local spicy foods and beverages, free samples from the best artisan hot sauce creators across the Lonestar state, and vendors offering every spicy curation imaginable. Shahina Wasseem, aka The UK Chilli Queen, will run the chilli eating competition and be available for a meet and greet with fans. Shahina is the undisputed worldwide chilli eating champion, featured in Hulu's "Superhot- The Spicy World of Pepper People."
“This is more than just a Hot Sauce Festival,” said Brad Johnson, local pepper grower and founder of Spicy Dadda, who will supply the peppers for the competition. “Houston is home to some of the hottest peppers on Planet Earth, and a fearless community who loves spicy food and international flavors.
