**Third Wednesdays Dog Day at the Houston Botanic Garden**
Join us on the third Wednesday of each month from March to July for Dog Day at the Houston Botanic Garden, where responsible pet parents can bring their canine companions to explore the Garden. To maintain its beauty as a living museum, all guests must collect their waste, bags, water bottles, bowls, and treats before leaving. Please note that the Garden's standard no pets/service animals-only policy is enforced at all other times.
Admission for dogs is just $5 for non-members, while members enjoy complimentary dog admission based on their membership level: individual members receive one, dual members receive two, and family members receive up to four dog admissions.
**Rules & Etiquette:**
- All dogs must be leashed and up-to-date on vaccinations and registrations.
- Waste must be bagged and disposed of in trash cans; waste bags are available at the Welcome Pavilion.
- Dogs should stay on marked paths and open lawn areas, avoiding horticultural displays to protect both plants and paws.
- Dogs are not allowed in the Welcome Pavilion or event tents.
- Only well-behaved and socialized dogs are permitted; aggressive behavior or dogs in heat may result in a request for removal from the Garden.
- Owners are responsible for their dogs' interactions with others, particularly children; guests should always ask before approaching your dog.
Help us keep the Garden a welcoming space for everyone, including future visitors and their furry friends!
