In this months workshop in our Garden Success series, horticulturist Diane Allen will explain how plants use the ingredients of light, water, and soil to flourish in the most unlikely of places indoors. In this course you will learn: How to choose the right plant(s) for your space Light requirements for popular indoor plants Which type of soil your indoor plant(s) needs Proper watering, fertilizing, and maintenance of your indoor garden Each attendee will go home with cuttings of tropical plants. Non-member Ticket Price: $25 Member Ticket Price: $10 ($15 discount) Skill level: Open to all skill levels Ages: Adults What to bring: Water bottle Desired note taking tools What to wear: Comfortable clothing that you dont mind getting some dirt on. What to expect: Please allow yourself at least 15 minutes to arrive and situate yourself at the Garden. The Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking. Upon arrival, please show your electronic ticket to the entrance attendant. The restrooms are located in the Welcome Pavilion, past the Garden Shop, close to the entrance. We will meet in the Culinary Garden Tent, an air-conditioned space overlooking the garden, a few minutes walk from the entrance.
