Kansas born and raised, Jaelen Johnston's music career began at age sixteen, after receiving a pawnshop guitar from his grandparents. Now, barely in his twenties, Jaelen Johnston continues to work tirelessly to hone his craft. He has grown a dedicated fan base and an impressive social media following by playing to packed houses across the Midwest, as well as recently placing runner-up on NBC’s 27th Season of The Voice in May of 2025. His undeniable vocal talent has caught the attention of many for its uniquely deep resonance, raw grit, country drawl, and bluesy smoothness. Although primarily influenced by a more red-dirt and old country sound, Jaelen prides himself on his ability to put his own spin on many different genres of music. Jaelen has already written and released a number of original songs, available on all streaming platforms, with more originals in the tank and planned for release this year.
