9/7/2025 The Wolff Sisters are a rag tag group of hardworking individuals that bring a big sound, rooted in traditional rock and Americana storytelling. Raised on Bob Dylan, The Band, and Little Feat - Rebecca (acoustic guitar), Kat (keys), and Rachael (electric guitar) - crafted their sound around a honky tonk piano in the living room of their childhood home. Winners of the New England Music Award for Americana Artist of the Year in 2021 and Boston Music Award for Americana Artist of the Year in 2020, the band’s electrifying live performance and unique sound continues to gain momentum and recognition from their hometown of Boston and beyond. The band is on tour promoting their fourth studio album 'Dark River.’ Drawing inspiration from blues giants like Howlin’ Wolf and modern storytellers Dawes, The Wolff Sisters don’t fit into one genre of music. With Rebecca on acoustic guitar, Rachael on electric guitar, Kat on keys, and all three on vocals, the sisters spent years honing their sound together in an old Victorian house just outside Boston. “They live comfily at the crossroads of Americana, roots, and ’60s rock ‘n’ roll, where The Band might meet Brandi Carlile and take her out for a beer.” - The Boston Globe “Cahoon Hollow’ plays like a master class in pop and folk songcraft, Nashville-studio-sessions-to-Appalachian-picking-party musicianship and an earthy production fit for Dylan in the ’60s or a modern Tedeschi Trucks Band record.” - The Boston Herald “The Wolff Sisters are like a perfect storm. A collection of different elements come together to create this swirling cyclone of heated voice and instrument and sonically powered passion that just works.” - Red Line Roots
