Since 2021, Diamond Blues, an eclectic group of accomplished musicians passionate about honoring the legacy of Jerry Garcia, have taken Boston by storm. Led by David Rubin on Vocals & Guitar, Diamond Blues features Robbie Parrish on Drums, Ian Brenkle on Bass, Caroline Killoh on Vocals & Keys, and Christopher Belden on Sax. DB, as it’s often called by fans, mines their repertoire from the Jerry Garcia Band songbook and blends other fan favorites consistent with the original sound of JGB. Their uniquely crafted setlists touch the entire catalogs of JGB, Legion of Mary/Merl Saunders, and Jerry Garcia Solo, leaving audiences inspired and electrified.
