Friday, March 6th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm Geared towards ages 14+ Instructor: Caroline Porter Location: Upstairs Gallery at the Austin ArtWorks Center Relax and unwind creating this impressionist inspired Lily Pad oil pastel piece. Led by Minnesota artist, Caroline Porter, you’ll learn basic layering techniques and other great beginner friendly oil pastel skills. Students will also have fun getting their hands messy while using a variety of blending techniques. The instructor will provide all necessary materials for this class, however, if you would like to use your own materials (i.e. paints or brushes) students are more than welcome to bring their own. Feel free to bring a notebook and take notes. It is highly encouraged to practice what you learn during this workshop at home.
