Dance Etc.

Dance Etc. began as an after-school program in 1995 at a local elementary school, teaching classes in the gymnasium. The next year, we opened a small, two-studio location in a strip mall next to Hader Hardware. Our goal for that first year was 75 students, but on opening day, we had 200 students register!

Shortly after opening, we added another rental unit where we offered tumbling classes. The next year, we added another unit so we could offer more dance classes. We also began competition teams.

In 1998, we bought our current property and built our 9,000 sq. ft. facility. In 2004, we opened a second location called Cheer Etc. which offered cheerleading and tumbling classes, and we had our own competitive cheer teams. Cheer Etc. closed in 2006.

In 2012, we started renting space at 5991 Meijer Dr. We had two units at first, but quickly added more. We now have 5 unit spaces.
