Oddfellows Playhouse Youth Theater is a non-profit organization in Middletown, Connecticut, founded in 1975. It is the state's oldest and largest youth theater, dedicated to providing high-quality performing arts experiences for young people aged 1 to 20. The organization's mission is threefold: to offer artistic programming by and for youth, to foster personal growth in skills, knowledge, and self-confidence through the performing arts, and to promote social change by providing opportunities for underserved and at-risk youth, thereby contributing to a multiracial and multicultural society. Oddfellows Playhouse offers a wide range of classes and productions in theater, dance, music, and circus arts. Signature programs include the Teen Repertory Company, Circophony Teen Circus, the Oddbridge After-School Program, and the nationally recognized Children's Circus of Middletown. The Playhouse emphasizes artistic excellence, social justice, and believes that access to arts experiences is a fundamental right, offering scholarships to ensure no child is turned away due to financial reasons. They serve approximately 1,600 young people annually from Middletown and surrounding communities.
