Join us for The Excel Center of Shelbyville Orientation Day! The Excel Center is a free, accredited high school for adults seeking to earn their Core 40 Indiana State Diploma. Operated by Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana, we offer essential support services—including on-site child care, transportation assistance, and access to college credit and industry-recognized certification courses—at no cost. Our mission is to empower individuals by removing barriers to education, with additional resources such as employment and disability services, a criminal re-entry program, and support for first-time mothers.
While primarily focused on adults, we also welcome students aged 16 and up. Minor applicants must resolve any suspensions or expulsions and meet with our Director, Shonda Russell, prior to enrollment. Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 3:45 pm.
