Join @sarabytheseason Fridays at 10:15-11:30a Seasonal Yin + Meditation Yin is a form of yoga in which we focus on the connective tissues, tendons, fascia, and ligaments. The connective tissues need different types of stretch than our larger muscles tissues. Known as “the quiet practice,” Yin encourages time and space to nourish these tissues and can be an especially beneficial practice to allow stillness and solitude in our busy and sometimes over-stimulated lives. Drawling upon the insight of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the wisdom of the seasons to guide students into harmony with the natural rhythms of their bodies.
