The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office for Brazos County will host Cooking Well Texas Meets Mediterranean in Bryan. The cost for the three-part class is 10 and registration is available by calling the AgriLfie Extension office for Brazos County at 979-823-0129 or by emailing Leslie Reyes at leslie. reyes@ag. tamu. edu or Flora Williams at flora. williams@ag. tamu. edu. Class is limited to 20 people and the deadline to register is Dec. 1. The class will introduce the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet and will teach participants how to incorporate those principles into their kitchen. Participants will learn: Simple ingredient swaps to make their favorite recipes healthier. Practice making smart food choices through interactive activities. Explore delicious, Mediterranean-inspired recipes they can create at home.
