puemstrongCLASS IS FULL as of 6-24-2025/strong/em/u/p pstrongPrice/strong - 40/p pstrongTaught by Marsha Walsh/strong/p/br pWelcome to the world of free motion quilting with rules on a domestic machine or in simpler words, "Rulerwork". In this basic class, we will explore how just a couple of rulers can enhance and simplify our quilt designs and/or techniques such as "stitch in the ditch" or cross-hatching. Using our basic straight-edge ruler we will try some dot-to-dot designs in squares, "square-in-a-square", and rectangles. Next we'll use our basic curved ruler to fill a triangle or square with curved cross-hatching and maybe even create a flower motif. Using the same curved ruler on a border with a curved echo design that resembles the popular "baptist fan" design. Finally, the best part of rulerwork is minimal marking, which means less stress, is a great timesaver, and ends of fun!/p
