**Exhibition Overview:**
Join us for two compelling exhibitions that highlight creativity, empowerment, and environmental awareness.
**Look Again: Portraits of Daring Women** runs from December 6, 2025, to April 4, 2026, in the Main Gallery. This exhibition features the work of Massachusetts-based artist Julie Lapping Rivera, who uses woodcut and collage techniques to celebrate unsung women throughout history. Inspired by The New York Times "Overlooked" series, Rivera’s portraits aim to uplift and inspire amid a growing climate of discrimination against women and marginalized communities.
**Designing the Ride: The Environment's Influence on Skateboard Design** will take place from September 27, 2025, to February 14, 2026, in the Mezzanine Gallery. This exhibit showcases a curated selection of vintage skateboards from the Launch Skateboard Collection, emphasizing environmental themes from the 1960s to the 1980s. It also features contemporary eco-inspired skate decks made from sustainable materials, highlighting the intersection of creativity, skateboarding, and environmental consciousness. Launch, a nonprofit from northern Colorado, presents this dynamic celebration of art, innovation, and sustainability.
Together, these exhibitions offer a thought-provoking exploration of art’s role in social and environmental narratives.
