Join us in the new books area for performance by Route 5 Jive: a roots, bop, hot jazz revival.
Route 5 Jive - A swinging string ensemble in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, led by Jakob Breitbach (violin) & Kit Creeger (guitar).
They start with a big pot of French Gypsy Jazz acoustic string swing, and then salt it with nuance from jump, jive, and bebop, big band , blues, boogie woogie, Western swing, Afro-Cuban, Samba & Bossa Nova.
This performance is free and open to all and does not require registration.
