Doing business since 1975 (formerly known as Book Bazaar), Inklings Book Shoppe is the local independent bookstore of the Lakeland community. With over 55,000 new, used, and antique books in stock, there is truly something for everyone.
The Oxford-based authors who founded "The Inklings" were incredibly influential in literary history, so our name and logo are directly inspired from that group and the "Eagle and Child" pub in Oxford where they met. The logo depicts a book as the bird carrying the baby, representing how books enrich us with new life. We at Inklings aim to continue their legacy through our business by supplying books for all kinds of readers, from beginners to bookworms and beyond.
