The Fairground spans approximately 100 acres and features 23 permanent structures, alongside over 400 camp spaces equipped with water and electricity. Established in 1868, the Fair Society acquired the initial 33 acres of the fairgrounds in 1880. Our board consists of 15 elected members representing each township, supported by over 300 dedicated volunteers who contribute to fair and off-season activities. The Delaware County Fair proudly affiliates with the Association of Iowa Fairs and the International Association of Fairs and Expositions, showcasing our commitment to excellence.
