Begin your day by meeting at the Rocky Point Trail for a guided wellness nature walk that promotes relaxation and mindfulness as you stroll through the tranquil forest. This paved one-mile loop leads you to an overlook of Lake Bemidji, offering a perfect opportunity to rejuvenate your spirit before autumn arrives. Comfortable shoes are recommended, and participants should gather at the west picnic area near the lake by the west parking lot.
After the Serenity Stroll, continue your adventure along the **Bog Boardwalk**. Join our Naturalist for a self-guided exploration of the enchanting bog, where you can learn about intriguing plants, including insect-eating species and blooming orchids like showy lady's slippers. The gravel Bog Walk Trail spans one mile one way, making for a total two-mile trip. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water and a snack to enjoy as you delve into the wonders of Minnesota's unique ecosystems.
