Come meet Indiana Author Shannon Anderson at our Blueberry Bash on Thursday, June 19 from 5-7 p.m., presented in partnership by JCPL, the Jay County Farm Bureau, Inc., and Purdue Extension Jay County. During this event, families will have an opportunity to hear Shannon read her books and purchase one if they would like. Shannon is the author of the book, I LOVE Blueberries! with art by Jaclyn Sinquett. This family event will feature blueberry pie, blueberry lemonade, and ice cream. In addition, participants can sign up when they come for a pie eating contest that will be held at 6:00 p.m. Come enjoy crafts and activities, an indoor blueberry patch, and more. Families can also observe a hydroponic plant-growing demonstration, a concept featured in Shannon’s book. Celebrate the love of blueberries, and come join us for a fun-filled evening with your family!
