Details:
Batik is one of the oldest and best-known methods for dying fabric, dating back more than 2,000 years. But this craft, usually involving hot wax, can be time consuming and hard to share with younger members of the family. New and improved glue batiking gives the same look with a fraction of the effort. Come color your world with this fun technique as part of the 2025 Color Your World Summer Reading Program. Participants will need to bring their own shirt or other piece of clothing or fabric to dye. All other supplies will be provided. Registration required. Limit 12.
