Young Naturalist School Community // Winter Wednesdays Dec 16 - March 18 We will hold a few optional, but exciting extra activities on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Nature School is a much smaller and intentional meet up for nature loving families. All ages welcome - This is a child + guardian program and is not drop off. It is for families who are opting out of any government funded schooling. It is best for families with children 5 & up although younger children DO get a ton out of joining. What to Expect.... *Weekly Themed Naturalist Classes for family learning adventures & nature exploration. *A hike with LOTS of play and exploration. *Cooperative play & problem solving. *Practicing interpersonal communication through play and real world situations (friendships). *Mini lessons to encourage organic learning, but this is very much an unschooling set up. *Encouraging kids to pursue their curiosity, and listen to their inner voice. *It is Waldorf inspired with all of my super research based magic sprinkled within *We will have ONE optional night meet *Optional camp out up north in a cabin setting. We meet twice a week, with optional other meet ups for holidays, cultural and seasonal celebrations etc. Our Mondays are an open invitation for homeschool families (totally optional to partake in this), while our naturalist classes are on Wednesdays in the WINTER.
