**Event: Verdant Remedies and Sustainable Home Landscaping Workshop**
**Description: July 31 - Sept. 21, 2025**
This exhibition, titled "Verdant Remedies: Unearthing Hmong Art and Nature," will celebrate the creative expressions of 12 Hmong artists, showcasing their works that depict nature, land, and home. Co-curated by artist Christina Vang and Arboretum art curators Tina Chimuzu and Wendy DePaolis, the exhibition will feature a variety of mediums, including paintings, mixed media, and ceramics, all inspired by cultural practices, plants, food, and the healing power of art. Proceeds from art sales will support local artists and the Arboretum. In conjunction with this exhibition, attendees can also participate in a workshop on "Creating a Home Landscape: Sustainable Design Basics for Homeowners," which aims to educate homeowners on environmentally friendly landscaping practices.
