Celebrate Highwood's Evening Gourmet Market returns Wednesdays, June 4 - August 27, 4:30-9 PM (no market July 2). With 60 rotating food, beverage, and craft vendors, plus live entertainment, it's the 17th season of this beloved event. THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHTS: KEVIN PURCELL & THE NIGHTBURNERS - High Energy Rockin Blues & Boogie Kevin Purcell & The Nightburners are a high-octane Chicago band that fuses blues, Southern rock, and boogie into electrifying performances led by Purcell’s powerhouse harmonica and vocals. This week's Featured Non-Profit Organizations are Friends of Highwood Library and Uptown Music Theatre. Friends of the Highwood Public Library is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that supports the Highwood Library & Community Center through fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement, helping to expand literacy programs and essential services for the diverse local population. Uptown Music Theater of Highland Park is a nonprofit theater company dedicated to producing inclusive, high-quality musical theater that nurtures both emerging and seasoned artists while engaging audiences across the North Shore.
