INVITATION FOR BIDS FIXED ALUMINUM CLAD WINDOWS REPLACEMENT PROJECT HERSHEY PUBLIC LIBRARY/DERRY TOWNSHIP Sealed proposals for the removal of existing fixed aluminum clad windows and installation of 21 fixed aluminum clad window replacements at the Hershey Public Library will be received at the Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033 until 11:00 AM on Friday, January 16, 2026, at which time bids will be opened and immediately read at a public meeting to be held at the Hershey Public Library. Contract documents including specifications, instructions to bidders, and proposal forms will be available to bidders on or after December 4, 2025. Bidding documents may be examined and obtained at the Hershey Public Library, Hershey, PA or by calling 717-533-655 x3715 after which the documents will be e-mailed to the requesting bidder. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid total. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Township reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, or irregularities, to any bid. The Township may accept any bid it may deem to be in the best interest of the Township, and to reject any or all proposals. Township reserves the right to reduce or eliminate the quantity of work. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033, Meeting Room 1.
