Join local singer-songwriters Eric Ian Farmer, Pepe Barcellos, and Kevin Briggs for an intimate evening of music at Pine Grove Hall, titled "Looking Back & Looking Forward." Set for December 28, the event celebrates the transition of the seasons with songs that explore themes of remembrance, resilience, and the journey of letting go. Each artist will take turns leading songs while being accompanied by one another, along with talented percussionist Urie Kline, who frequently collaborates with Eric.
Eric Ian Farmer, a State College native with Blackfeet and Cherokee heritage, brings his unique blend of soul, folk, and groove, drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Bobby McFerrin and Stevie Wonder, while infusing percussive elements reminiscent of Bo Diddley. Kevin Briggs, known for his mastery of guitar and mandolin, combines rootsy acoustic textures with influences from bluegrass and Americana, showcased in his recent self-titled debut album. Meanwhile, Brazilian musician Pepe Barcellos adds a diverse flair with his guitar and percussion expertise, earned through international workshops and his teaching role at Penn State.
Dinner and bar service will be available throughout the evening, making it a perfect opportunity to enjoy community and music. Don’t miss this special gathering of talent and storytelling—click "Get Tickets" to reserve your seat!
