Music4U! Summer Concert Series Returns! Presented in partnership with the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra. We’re thrilled to once again host three unforgettable evenings of free live music on the beautiful lawn of the Robbins Hunter Museum! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and friends, and enjoy the sounds of summer around the Tina and Dale Knobel Folly. June 15 at 6pm: Peter Larson and Friends Kick off the season with a lively evening of jazz classics led by NGSO’s principal pianist Peter Larson. A Broadway composer and jazz pianist, Peter will be joined by an all-star ensemble: Tom Carroll (guitar), Pete Mills (saxophone), Jim Powell (trumpet), Doug Richeson (bass), and Seth Rogers (drums). Expect a night full of swing, soul, and spirited improvisation! IN CASE OF RAIN: We will move the concert to the First Presbyterian Church of Granville Sanctuary, 110 W Broadway. These community concerts are free and open to all, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors: Ross Granville Market, Granville Arts Commission, Otterbein Granville, Granville Community Foundation, and Loft Violin Shop. Join us for music, community, and the charm of summer at the museum!
