Join our free drop-in Painting & Drawing Club, hosted by local artist Julie York! This welcoming and supportive space is perfect for artists of all skill levels, whether you're just starting out or have years of experience. Julie will guide you through various techniques in acrylic and oil painting, color mixing, and brush skills. All essential materials such as paper, paints, brushes, and mini canvases are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own sketchbook and supplies too. Enjoy the no-pressure environment while connecting with fellow artists and discovering the joy of creating art together. Complementary snacks and drinks will be available! Julie York, a dedicated ELA high school teacher pursuing her Master's in Art Education, draws inspiration from her family and community. With a passion for art as a means of social justice, she focuses on various mediums and the intersection of literature and life.
