Details:
We're kicking off our Little Artists Summer Series with our first-ever Instrument Petting Zoo at the Granville Center for the Arts—a hands-on music adventure where kids can touch, try, and tinker with a wide variety of real instruments. From violins to steel drums, electric guitars to trombones, accordions to xylophones—we're throwing out the "no-touch" signs and inviting curiosity to take center stage. We'll have a violin, keyboard, electric guitar, ukuleles, steel drum, trombone, flutes, harmonicas, accordion, xylophone, and more! It's a full-on, joyful soundscape where little hands are encouraged to poke, pluck, pound, and play to their hearts' content. This event is all about fun, exploration, and the joy of making music. FREE and open to kids 12 and under! Enjoy free snacks and drinks (while supplies last!) Parents or guardians must accompany their kids—because, trust us, you're going to want to see the smiles. Calling All Student Musicians! We're seeking student musicians to demonstrate how to play instruments to encourage and inspire our little artists. Have your parents email Ryan McGuire, our Creative Director (of Happyness!), at ryan@granvillearts.org if you're available.
