Ages 9 to 11 | January 8 to February 12 Turn imagination into animation. In this hands-on workshop, students explore the art of digital storytelling through two creative tools: stop-motion animation using HUE cameras and game design using Bloxels. Each week introduces new skills as students learn how characters, settings, and story structure come together to create compelling visual stories. Students will build miniature sets, animate scenes frame by frame, design playable characters, and create interactive game worlds. Along the way, they will practice planning, sequencing, problem solving, and the basics of digital media creation. By the end of the six weeks, each student will have both a short stop-motion film and a playable story game to share. No experience is required. All materials are provided. This workshop is perfect for young makers who love creativity, storytelling, technology, and hands-on learning.
