Join us online every Saturday at 7:30 AM for our Ashtanga Yoga Foundations class, tailored to introduce you to the essentials of Ashtanga yoga. In this class, you'll be guided through each posture, receiving one asana at a time as you develop your individual practice. This approach is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness, ensuring a personalized and supportive learning environment. Once the poses are taught and established, you'll transition to a Mysore style practice, allowing you to progress at your own pace. This class pairs beautifully with our Wednesday Ashtanga Foundations Class for a comprehensive Ashtanga experience. No prior yoga experience is necessary. You'll learn the basics of Ashtanga in a safe and supportive setting, focusing on breathing techniques (vinyasa), meditative gazing (drishti), and internal energy locks (bandha). This class is perfect for beginners eager to explore the Ashtanga Yoga practice. To ensure quality observation and individual guidance, the class is intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 10 students.
