Art Journalling Workshop Adults & Ages 16+ $20 Dive into the world of art journaling in this playful, experimental workshop inspired by our yearly #FERNIEARTSTREAK! Using the Art Streak as a starting point, we’ll explore a variety of techniques including collage, drawing, layering, and more. Words from the Streak will be printed for you to turn into found poetry, spark ideas, or simply inspire visual experimentation! This workshop encourages you to get messy, try new things, and discover that “anything goes” in your journal. Whether you’re looking for creative prompts, new ways to express yourself, or just a playful artistic break, this session will provide tools and inspiration to keep your creativity flowing all year! About the Instructor Karen MacDonald is a multi-passionate artist based in Fernie, BC. Drawn to the insignificant and overlooked, Karen creates with upcycled materials, found objects, collage, paint, and stitch. Karen is always exploring, experimenting, and learning to apply various techniques to discover more. Accessibility Note This workshop is planned to take place in our upstairs studios, which are accessed by steep stairs.
