Join us for a creative and fun pottery experience with two exciting events: "MYO Mugs: Holiday Edition" and "Sip & Spin." In "MYO Mugs: Holiday Edition," you’ll hand-build your own festive ceramic mug, perfect for cozy drinks or handmade gifts. Guided by instructor Caelin McDaniel, you’ll learn the techniques of shaping, joining, and decorating your mug using stamps, textures, or carving tools. Expect a relaxed environment as you craft your mug, which will be glazed and fired for pickup in about 2-4 weeks—just in time for the holiday season!
"Sip & Spin" offers a BYOB pottery wheel night where you can throw clay while enjoying your favorite beverages. With instructor Morgan Farrell, you’ll learn to center and shape clay on the potter's wheel, creating 2-3 pots with glaze options to personalize your work. This laid-back class promises messy fun and laughter, with your creations ready for pickup in the same timeframe as the mugs.
Both classes are suitable for ages 12 and up, require a minimum of 5 students to run, and offer full refunds for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance. Remember to dress comfortably, bring your own snacks and drinks, and prepare for a night of artistic exploration.
