Expand your knowledge of birding with Winneshiek County Conservation’s expert naturalist Larry Reis! Join Larry on Thursday, February 12th from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Winneshiek County Courthouse Annex. Larry will help you prepare to participate in a global citizen science project, the Great Backyard Bird Count, which takes place February 13-16, 2026. Learn more at www.birdcount.org/. This program is free and no registration is required. The presentation is geared towards adults, but youth are welcome with an adult caretaker.
